Worship Services
Every Sunday morning at 10:30 am from the second Sunday in September to the last Sunday in July.

Sunday School
The children of the congregation spend the last half of the service in the lower hall of the Church with caring teachers who provide a well-organized program of education, crafts, and special projects. At the moment, the children are raising funds to support the Guide Dog program.

Choir Practice
Every Tuesday evening at the Church at 7:00 pm from the second Tuesday in September until Christmas.

UCW
The UCW ladies meet on the third Wednesday of each month. They often have special events such as games evenings, potluck dinners, or guest speakers, so give us a call to find out what's on the current agenda.

Beef BBQ
Usually held on the second Saturday in August on the Church grounds.

Corn Roast
Upon returning to regular Sunday morning worship services on the second Sunday in September, we enjoy a corn roast in the Churchyard immediately following the service.

Blessing of the Animals in the Wesleyan Chapel
Everyone is welcome.  Bring your furry friends, extend an invitation to your neighbours and spread the word to others about this wonderful service.

Thanksgiving Sunday
The Church will be decorated with fruits and vegetables, and familiar hymns of thankfulness are the order of the day. Again, we share our bounty by bringing non-perishable food items for the local Food Bank.

Anniversary Sunday
On the second-last Sunday in October, we celebrate our history and heritage. Friends from the past gather and mingle with new friends we hope will be part of our future! A guest speaker and special music makes this very memorable!

Turkey Supper
Over 500 people enjoy roast turkey with gravy, stuffing, potatoes, turnip, green peas, cole slaw, rolls, homemade cranberry sauce and - saving the best for last - any kind of homemade pie you can imagine for dessert! This is a huge fundraiser for us on the first Wednesday in November, but always a fun evening.

Remembrance Day
We observe Remembrance Day in honour of those who have given their lives for our freedom.

Following are the special events scheduled over the coming months: Jesse/Jessie Tree: On the first Sunday of Advent, along with the adorned Christmas Tree, we also have the Jesse/Jessie Tree in the sanctuary. Throughout the Advent season, we collect mittens, hats, scarves, and small cuddly toys on the tree, which are then distributed to the Sand Gate Shelter for Abused Women, a charitable organization. White Gift Sunday: This is usually the second Sunday in December and is very special to us because the Sunday School children will sometimes entertain us with a pageant. The service is followed by a potluck lunch (yes, we eat very well!) and a visit from Santa. Christmas Eve Candlelight Service: Our Minister and the Choir provide a very special service starting at 7:00 pm on Christmas Eve. The glow of the candles, the telling of the Christmas story, the singing of familiar carols, and the beautiful music provided by the Choir make this a very spiritual and truly special experience! Christmas Sunday: On the Sunday before Christmas we celebrate the birth of Jesus with the lighting of the Christ Candle, your favourite carols, and familiar scriptures.
